1.20pm: Fire at Teddy Waddy, on the Calder Highway.

1.22pm: Scrub and forest fire at Gellibrand.

1.32pm: Spectacular fire at Arthurs Seat; flames could be seen for kilometres.

1.53pm: Fire reported at Langwarrin.

2.10pm: CFA called to fire at Golden Beach.

2.17pm: Serious fire breaks out at Creswick.

3.45pm: Broadford Papermill threatenend by flames.

4.45pm: Reports of fire at Rosebud.

6.55pm: Ferny Creek fire hits Clarks Road.

10.15pm: Outbreaks in Inverness Avenue and Mountain Highway, Kalorama; One Tree Hill and Ferny Creek. Powerlines down at Mount Dandenong Tourist Road.
